PRIVACY & DATA
What stays, and where.
Short version: the configuration you type never leaves your browser, because there is nothing here to send it to.
What is stored
Only what you explicitly save. Choosing Save zone writes the form values — hostnames, TTLs, cache key settings, the bypass cookie name, delivery options and the name you gave the zone — into IndexedDB under the database edgecraft-local, in this browser, on this origin (scheme, host and port).
Nothing is written while you are merely editing the form. Closing the page without saving leaves no trace beyond ordinary browser caching of the page files themselves.
What is not collected
No account, no cookies set by this page, no analytics, no error reporting, no third-party scripts or fonts. After the page and its two script files load, it makes no further network requests — the generated configuration, the checks and the saved list are all produced locally.
Whoever serves this host can see the ordinary request for the page in their own logs, as with any website. That is outside this page's control and contains none of your configuration.
Scope of local storage
A different browser, a different device or a different origin has a separate, empty list. Saved zones do not sync and are not backed up anywhere.
Deleting
Delete removes a zone immediately and permanently; there is no undo, no trash and no version history. Clearing site data for this origin in your browser removes everything at once. Browser storage eviction, the end of a private session, or losing the device has the same effect without warning — download anything you need to keep.
No warranty
The generated configuration is a draft. It is not reviewed, not tested against your edge software and not guaranteed to be correct or secure for your situation. Verify it before deploying. Nothing here is a backup service, a secret store or a security control.
